Elevate Your Gaze with Perfection
Eyeliner tattoos (also known as permanent eyeliner or an eyeliner tattoo) have been around for decades, and specialists for this treatment have perfected their makeup tattooing technique for natural-looking results. With eyeliner tattoos, you can have perfect, permanent eyeliner. Permanent eyeliner is a treatment you can receive that replaces the need to wear eyeliner each day. This technique involves using a tattooing method to apply ink along the lash line to create the appearance of eyeliner. (This ink is permanent, but has to be touched up every 3-5 years.) Eyeliner tattoos can be applied in a variety of styles, from extremely thin and natural-looking liner (top or bottom), to thicker lines, and even winged eyeliner .
Immediate side effects can include swelling, bleeding, and bruising. You may also experience burning, itching, or discomfort around the injection site. However, these side effects should only last a few days. The artist also explains that the eyeliner color will typically appear much darker for up to 10 days after the procedure.
Make sure you are aware of all the anticipated aftercare before undergoing your procedure.
I hate to break the news to you, but permanent eyeliner is not as permanent as the name suggests. On average, you can expect the line to last one to three years.
Constantly using eye creams, oils and other products can cause the ink to fade over time. Not only does the color change, but as the ink is placed at the surface of the skin, the precision of the line also decreases.
Permanent eyeliner is generally considered a safe procedure if performed by an experienced practitioner, in a medical-grade clean environment, employing completely sterile techniques. Patients with autoimmune disorders like lupus and pregnant woman should avoid having permanent eyeliner treatment, to prevent complications.
- Do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat will expand the pores.
- Avoid heavy sunlight three days before your treatment as your skin should not be in the process of healing. If you have a sunburn, wait four to five days before performing the procedure.
- Avoid coffee before your treatment. Caffeine will act as a blood thinner and can cause you to bleed more than average.
- Avoid drinking alcohol the night before treatment as this can lower your pain threshold.
Eyeliner can be applied in thicknesses ranging from very thin (around 1mm thick) to very think (as much as 5mm) depending on your personal preference. The right thickness for you will depend on your eye shape and also where you intend to place the tattoo.

Ombre Top Liner
Inspired by the ombre hair trend, ombre brows (or ombré eyebrows) have become a huge trend in semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows. Just like the basic powder brows, it’s a procedure that gives you the look of filled-in, shaded brows, but with a special twist – the ombre effect. The pigment is inserted using a dotting technique called pixelization, giving a 3D, fluffy look to the eyebrows.

Lower Eyeliner
Our eye enhancement procedure is placed along your bottom lash line to bring extra accentuation to the eyes and even more definition to their frame.
I would say about 95% of my clients end up doing both upper and lower eyes. However, if you choose only one, just do the uppers. Otherwise, the eye is drawn downward and none of us want that aging effect. I personally prefer a less “intense” lower for permanent makeup otherwise the eye can get closed in.
